Since 1962, Osland has developed and preserved Norway’s oldest trout broodstock, tailoring the optimal growth conditions for fish roe and smolt.

Norwegian Salmon & Fjord Trout


ULTCO is the exclusive North American Supplier of Norwegian Salmon & Fjord Trout from Seaborn AS. Founded in 2001 by a group of family-owned salmon and trout farms, Seaborn AS Is a co-op of completely vertically integrated second and third generation farmers. 

Seaborn Norwegian Atlantic Salmon & Fjord Trout are GMO-Free, Antibiotic Free, Land Based Animal Protein Free, & Hormone Free. Seaborn's operations are certified by the Global Partnership for Good Agricultural Practices (Global G.A.P.)

Seaborn Norwegian Salmon

Although Seaborn farmers are geographically diverse, operating across 4 regions of Norway, they share common values and practices. Each one uses broodstock native to their areas so the salmon thrive in their truly natural environment. 

All farmers are locally vertically integrated assuring pre-rigor processing of fresh superior grade salmon 52 weeks a year.

Seaborn Fjord Trout

The pioneers of fish farming in Norway started farming trout and some never left it. The experience gained from farming Norwegian Fjord Trout laid the foundations that made salmon farming possible a decade later. 

This species (Oncorhynchus mykiss) thrives in the Norwegian fjords where glaciers and melting snow flow into these deep inlets of the sea. A favorite of professional and home chefs alike due to it’s mild flavor, vivid color and high fat content.
